Maison Mai: A New Chapter for Madame Mai

Maison Mai, the newly opened restaurant by the creators of Madame Mai, brings a fresh concept to life, focusing on Indochine Cuisine, Tapas, and Bar. It extends their brand by blending Asian culinary traditions with European design. The goal was to create a welcoming and elegant dining space, showcasing its distinctive character while maintaining the original vision of excellence. With our one-stop customization service, we turned this concept into reality.

The Challenge

• Selecting Furniture to Enhance Ambience:

  Carefully curating furniture from our extensive product range to align with Maison Mai’s unique style. The focus was on choosing pieces that seamlessly matched the restaurant's aesthetics while ensuring durability and comfort for daily use.

• Balancing Asian Roots with European Aesthetics:

  The design celebrated Maison Mai's Asian heritage while integrating modern European influences. It aimed to maintain the signature style and uniqueness of the Madame Mai brand.

• Designing a Unique and Functional Bar:

  The bar was designed to be a practical centerpiece, blending functionality with striking aesthetics to leave a lasting impression.

• Customizing Every Detail:

  Customizing lighting, furniture, and decor to fit Maison Mai’s concept. This ensured a cohesive and immersive dining experience.

Understanding the Client's Vision

The client wanted the bar to be the centerpiece of the restaurant. It features a grand circular chandelier overhead for elegance and layered lighting. A floral-inspired design on the floor adds cultural refinement. The bar's bold black theme contrasts with golden backlighting and warm accents. This creates a dramatic yet inviting focal point that ties the space together.

Selecting Furniture for Cohesion and Style

The furniture selection focused on aligning with the restaurant’s design vision. Each piece was chosen carefully to match the textures and color palette of the overall aesthetic.

Premium upholstered seating was chosen for comfort and durability. It complemented the golden backlighting and warm accents in the bar area. The dining booths have sturdy frames and elegant designs. They add sophistication to the space while remaining functional.

Furniture was carefully chosen to complement the lighting and decor.  This created an immersive atmosphere where every detail, from chairs to lounge seating, contributed to a cohesive and stunning dining space. It fully met the client’s expectations.

Customized Design and Planning

We worked closely with the client to refine the initial design, combining aesthetics and functionality. By analyzing the provided sketches, we made adjustments to match their vision and improve practicality and durability.

Integrated Design and Space Planning

• The floor plan was created to align the bar's size and position with the restaurant layout, making it a focal point.

• The bar's stability was improved by reinforcing key parts, such as columns and balusters, to support frequent use.

• The bar was placed to create a natural flow of foot traffic, making it easy for guests to access.

• The spacious layout behind the bar allows staff to work efficiently, reducing congestion and speeding up service.

Detailed Refinements

• The baluster design and bar facade were updated with subtle curves and refined patterns. This created a polished, elegant look that blends Asian and European styles.

• LED light strips were added along the base and back of the bar to create contrast between the black bar counter and golden accents. This lighting not only highlights the intricate design of the bar but also adds warmth to the space.

We added waterfall-like pendant lights on either side of the central chandelier. This softened the ambiance and enhanced the layered lighting for a luxurious, inviting atmosphere.

Currently, the store's real scene, highly restored.

Seamless Production and Delivery

Once the designs were finalized, we moved into production, offering a one-stop solution. We provided everything, including bar counters, wine racks, custom tables, lighting, and ceiling designs. This ensured a cohesive look and reduced the client's workload. Each piece was made with durability and style in mind, allowing the client to focus confidently on their restaurant launch.
